(From the Spanish forum) In a midi file, how to change the global values within "Properties of the compass indication"?

I have a midi file that is a waltz. The musescore score shows it in 3/4 time. How to do to see the score on 6/8.
The midi file is attached here:

I guess there's no easy way.
I've been working on the MIDI file and made some tweaks. (See attachment)
Good luck.

How did you do this? I could just tell the guy on the Spanish forum that the way to do it is just to ask Ziya;)

I worked on a MIDI file with a MIDI editor. (an old Cakewalk)
1. added a measure to the head.
2. I used the convert-to-half-durations script. (.CAL Cakewalk Application Language)
3. converted 3/4 to 6/8.
4. I made some adjustments.
5. Then I transferred it to Musescore.
6. Also I made some edits here.
Like I said: It was not an easy way, but it did work.
If you work with these software for a long time (years), you can set a road map in your head quickly.
Maybe it's not the best way, but it works.

I forwarded you answer to Oscar.
You are correct that if you are used to using software and aware of its capabilities it is easy to set a road map in your head that allows you to tackle a new problem. I do this often in MuseScore either when others ask a new question or when I encounter a new challenge in transcribing a score.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Would it be possible for you to do the same work with the file that I attached? While 6/8 appears in the score, the real notation is in 3/4. I want the notation to be really on 6/8. Thank you

This piece is already on 6/8.
It is not possible to convert again to 6/8.
The original song is 4/4.
My 4/4 version is attached (with Chords).

I didn't even look at it since I don't have the tools to fix it. I'll forward your response.
