2.2.1 (51b8386) Crashes On All My Computers
The latest stable build (51b8386) crashes on all my computers whenever closing one score, or coming out of the mixer when a score is loaded (that either has multiple parts or another score is loaded, too). Not sure if it's memory related, but all computers have lots of memory and resources. It crashes at the same point on them all.

What OS? Can you share a score that's showing that crash, with exact steps?

All computers are Windows 10 Home (latest release). This includes two desktops and one Surface Pro. I'm not home right now, but can get a score uploaded later tonight.

The upload continues to fail. I'm wondering if the file is corrupted, not enough to play, but enough to crash the program and to fail when uploading to my scores.
Going to deem it a problem with my file unless I find otherwise. Thanks for responding.

is the windows firewall enabled?
No crash on opening the score, nor when using the mixer or on closing MuseScore while having that score open MuseScore 2.2.1 (from Windows Store) on Windows 10 Enterprise. No crash with "Save online" either.
But indeed on MuseScore.com the score shows as "Upload failed", which seems to be an entirely different issue than you originally reported.
Edit 1: I've now reported that in #271701: "Save online" fails
Edit 2: It turned out to be #271707: MusicXML export: crash when exporting hairpins

Here too, I cannot received crash whatever I try.
But I observe that "Upload" works on MuseScore.com by removing the glissandos measure 160 (ie the "real" eighth measure), including in the invisible Trumpet staff.
So: 2Lingus.Finale without gliss..mscz
Uploading that score (or "Save Online") should work now, the issue on musescore.com has been fixed
Hi Just updated to 2.2 and can confirm this bug. Program becomes unresponsive and crashes when closing a score. It can be a new file or an old one, save or unsaved. Inconsistent as it doesn't do it all the time. Can close a file fine and then crash on the same file on the next go with no changes.
Windows 10 Home

and just to confirm the build number OS: Windows , Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (32-bit): 2.2.1, revision: 51b8386
We still need steps (and sample scores) to reproduce that crash. So far only a crash on exporting as XML has been reproduced (and got fixed on musescore.com, and a fix for 2.3 is pending), but the crash on closing MuseScore has not been reproduced
Been interrupted by that four-letter word: Work.
Working on the right set of events that consistently cause the crash. Will update.

I face the same problem running " OS: OS X 10.13, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 2.2.1, revision: 51b8386"
PFA the OSX crash report and the score to reproduce crash when closing.
The steps are :
- open the score
- display the play panel
- play the score
- slow the tempo
- stop playing
- close the score (+w)
- watch MS crash
I can reproduce this issue, involving tempo change via the Play Panel, and I can locate its origin in August 2017.
But the first report doesn't indicate never this scenario/idea/clue.
So, for the moment, I let this issue with the same status (needs info), and I submit a new issue related to the tempo change.
EDIT: done here: #272654: Crash when closing a file after changing tempo in Play panel
That bug is fixed in 2.3 and master as part of #271039: If Play Panel is open closing the score causes crash
If it is not that, reopen with more information
I keep having this problem with a score that I made on my computer with no problem in version 2.1. If I try to click on certain notes it crashes. Also, it now struggles to play loud drum sections that used to be clear as a bell. I am doing this on a 2012 Mac Mini which is a pretty bad computer, however, these problems also occur on my brand new Acer Predator Helios 300 therefore it is something wrong with the programme itself and not either of my computers. Is anybody else having these issues and how might I fix them (if it's even possible).
Below is the piece I referred to:

I forgot to mention, the notes that consistantly and immediately crash it are in measure 43 of the brass (staff 1). There are three notes, all of which crash both of my computers. Also, not related, but can you re-add the 2.1 instruments as different mixer options? I miss the 2.1 piano.
Thois issue as been closed as being a duplicate of #271039: If Play Panel is open closing the score causes crash. If that other issue does not descibe the problem you see (and 2.3RC still crashes), open a new issue
