Notes outside of piano range crash MuseScore
The Problem is simple: While scoring a part for a Glockenspiel, I accidentally moved a high c6 (sounding c8) up a semitone using the arrow up- key, which caused MuseScore to crash.
After a Little bit of testing it turned out that notating anything above sounding c8 or below sounding a0 (either directly notating it with a mouse click or by moving a lower note up/higher note down) for any instrument will cause a crash.
A possible solution for that could be to make notes out of that range only appear visually on the staff without making a sound when placed or played, since I think the Problem might be that MIDI does not include such high or low notes, but I am not an expert in that kind of Technology, so I might be wrong with that. Although there might not be any real use of notes that low or that high, it is certainly annoying when one accidentally moves a note too far out. Also I am not sure whether this bug already existed in earlier versions, as i discovered it in the latest fully released version.
I have included a file where you can try it out yourself, just try to move the bottom note down or the upper note up and MuseScore should crash.

This is not the case here (Windows). And with the mouse I can drag anywhere
If the piano keyboard is visible it is a duplicate of #271325: Adjusting a note outside the range of a piano causes a crash when the piano keyboard is visible..

@Jojo I would suggest you are being a bit presumptuous, thought you are probably correct. Confirmation from OP would be nice.
