Misalignment of staff
In some measures, the notes on the treble and bass clefs are way out of alignment. I can't figure out how to make them line up.
The music is complex, with syncopated triplets in the treble clef, and triplets alternating with quarter notes in the bass clef.
Two of the problem lines are in the attached file.
Any suggestions?

I don't have an explanation as to why, but starting on beat 2 of each measure one of the staves is starting early. This should not be possible, but if you click the notes on beats 2 and 3 you will see which notes are early. How did you enter the music?

I entered the music note by note with a mouse.
I don't understand what you mean by click on the notes. I can see which notes are starting early.
When I playback the music within the program, it plays correctly.
Thanks.

At the bottom left of the window is the status bar (you may need to check the status bar in the view menu to see it). It tells what beat a note starts on. You will see starting with the 2nd beat in the treble of the 2nd measure is early, and starting with the 2nd beats of measures 3&4 the notes are early. If you slow down the tempo (I used 5 bpm) you will be able to hear the notes are played slightly early. You don't notice it at full speed because humans are off by that much all the time.

I see that.
Actually both treble and bass are early.
So how do I fix it?

Select measures 1 and 2;
Edit/Bar->Join Selected Bar;
Click the first note (Eb5);
Edit/Bar->Split Measure before...
Check if it works.
The same operation on the following measures causes crash.
Upgrade to 2.2.1 if possible.

This score (excerpt) is corrupt ( Zombie trouble lines.mscz )
Select measure 3 -> Insert one measure -> Select and delete one or more triplets in the former measure 3.
Result: corruption.
Reproducible from scratch.
Issue soon reported.

I would insert a new measure immediately before or after the bad measure, reenter the notes that measure-don't copy them, then delete the bad measures.
