Fixing an already wrote pick up bar.
Guys, I have a song already written and I need to fix it, need to change the pick up bar. This song already has a quarter C note written in the pick up bar and I need to fix it to a "half-note rest, followed by an eight-note rest and a dotted quarter note. How can I do it? Many thanks.

I think you can right click the pickup bar, select measure properties, change the actual value of the measure to four beats, and go from there.

Would you mind, if possible, show me a picture of this proceeding? Thanks.

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#properties especially https://musescore.org/en/handbook/measure-operations#duration
These pages are from the Handbook, a very useful resource for your future reference.

Clear the present wrong pickup bar and then input (in order) a half rest, an eighth rest, and then your dotted quarter note C.

Actually, if it's supposed to be a pickup bar, you don't want the rests at all - just the note. So follow these steps:
1) Right-click the measure
2) Click "Measure Properties"
3) Under "Actual duration", select 3/8 (the duration of a dotted quarter)
4) OK
