File constantly loads blank score
I was working a transcription for a song when I restarted musescore. When I loaded up the file again, the score was completely empty and would crash whenever there was a midi input from my keyboard. However, since I've only entered in a few notes, I decided to just start a new file. After a while, I restart musescore to discover that the problem happened again (the file loaded fine a few times before that, so it's either random or something's triggering it). After digging around on the forums for a bit, I found that I had no backup and decided that the file was probably lost, so I cut my losses and started from scratch again. Today, I open up musescore to discover that the same problem has happened again. Does anyone know why that's happening or how to recover the files? It's quite annoying and discouraging to constantly lose my work.

Something in the filename is throwing MuseScore off track (and not only MuseScore, vim too)
Extract the mscx from the mscz, e.g. using 7Zip, rename the file to e.g. foo.mscx and it'll open in MuseScore

Interesting... the problem is probably because of a special character.
You can delete the tilde in the .mscz file, then using 7zip's 'Open archive' do the same for the .mscx file and close 7zip.
This will leave you with:

Looks like that works. Thank you guys so much!
Strangely enough though, musescore seems to handling my other files with tilde just fine, so I have no idea if that's what's causing the problem.

It is not (just) the tilde, there is some junk at the end of the filename

Huh, I guess that's what I get for copy-pasting the name from a chart. Good to know.
