Musescore does not detect my Yamaha DGX-220 Keyboard
I have a new iMac. Downloaded the program and was able to enter notes with computer keyboard. Closed down musescore hooked up my Yamaha to the computer, turned on the keyboard and started up the app.
Can't get note entry to work with my Yamaha. Anybody else have this problem with new iMac?

If you go to Edit / Preferences / I/O, what do you see? Can you select your keyboard there?

Seems there might be some sort of device driver you need to install then - consult the documentation for your keyboard and or macOS.

Hello Marc
Im two days new in learning musescore and I too can not get sound from my midi controller key board M-audio O2. the only thing that comes up in preferences I/O is port audio is checked, API:core audio;device : built-in microphone with (drop down menu choices- no midi keyboard). how do I find the drivers and where/how do I install them?
Thanks.

Did you make sure to start MuseScore after connecting and turning on your keybaord?
if so, then consult the documentation that came with your keyboard, or the manufacturer's website, to learn how to install the necessary drivers for your operating system.
