Right click on the note -> note properties -> small.
Or for a full measure, right click -> measure properties -> small. Notes need to be beamless for this to work.
Hi. I was having this problem. I wanted to make simple scores of complicated music for students. It is easy with guitar as you switch the tab to 'simple' on the instruments, but with notation......
Style>general>notes Set stem thickness to 0.0
Style>general>beams Set beam thickness to 0.0
Even simpler?

That would make the notes, well, small, not stemless, wouldn't it?
But in the same dialog they can be made stemless ;-)
