Writing a guitar/piano chord score
Helloscore Muse family,
Which of the templates do I use to start writing a basic guitar or keyboard chord chart? I scrolled through the menu but I didn't see a suitable one, thanks.

In the templates there are both a piano and guitar template in the solo section. Additionally, you have the option of using a tablature for the guitar with or without the treble clef for notes. When you select New Score you get a box where you can insert information about your song, then the next window is the Templates that will allow you to use one of those.
MuseScore has lots of options for both pianos and guitars, so I recommend that you at least familiarize yourself with the handbook. You can download a PDF from this page to make skimming it easier. It is also available in a variety of languages with various amounts of them translated.

The template is nice if you want guitar with tablature and don't know how to do it manually.
My thoughts: For me it's not really clear what's your aim. If you want to create a score/arrangement for guitar and/or keyboard, see the suggestion from other. Inside the handbook you'll find also chapters for chord symbols or fretboard diagrams.
Or do you want to create a table of chords symbols without a visible staff? If the suggestions don't help please clarify your request.
There are many different things that could possibly be meant by "basic guitar or keyboard chord chart". I mean, music for keyoard is normally on two staves, guitar on one, so right off I'm not sure how many staves you might want. Chord symbols and fret diagrams can be entered onto any score; you don't need a special template for that. So simply decide how many staves you want, choose either Treble Staff or Grand Staff or Guitar or Piano if you want "standard" (smallish / Roman) chord symbols, or Jazz Lead Sheet if you want "jazzy" (pseudo-handwritten) chord symbols.

Thanks to everyone for your response and assistance. The basic guitar or keyboard score I was referring to is the chord accompaniment to a singer using a piano or guitar. The keyboard score does not require 2 staves. I generally write scores for calypso singers (calypsonians), and the guitar and keyboards normally read from the same score. No writing of solo parts are required, generally, there are no written guitar solo parts in calypso, and any 8/16 synthesizer lead parts are memorized by the keyboardist. Hope I clarified myself. So, if you need just a single staff, use any template that has a single staff - eg, Treble Staff, Guitar, or Jazz Lead Sheet. You can enter the melody on that staff, or use slash notation to indicate accompaniment (see Handbook under "Tools", or even make the staff lines invisible if you don't need notes at all (right click, Staff Properties).
