Placement of Transpose

Just musing about how the transpose function is actually a tool, and might it not be better to consolidate it with the other tools.

It would be uncomfortable at first for all of us who are used to the way it is, but I think it would be a short learning curve for those of us who use it quite a bit.

Also that part of the handbook would have to be rewritten.

I agree the current organization is not ideal. Between Notes, Layout (which contains a couple of elements that strike me as more "tools" than layout), Edit, and Add, it is seldom obvious where to go.

There have been some changes already for MuseScore 3, feel free to check that out and give your impressions.
