How Do I Show a Start Repeat Bar and New Time Signature on a New Line of Music
I can't seem to edit the first bar line on each line of music, I want to show a start repeat bar line at the beginning of the next line of music.
Also how do I show a new time signature at the beginning of the next line of music too?

Apply these the same way you do any other barline or time signature. MuseScore will show them the way they are supposed to be shown.

It says 'nothing selected' in the inspector window when I select the bar line. See in the attachment how the middle bar line on the far left is selected and in blue.
Is there another way of changing the barline? so far I always just selected the bar line and adjusted it in the inspector...

Drag the barline to the measure. When you get there the measure will change colors. Time signature works the same way.

Hm. Thanks for trying to help but nothing seems to happen when I try to drag the barlines, in fact none of the bar lines move.
The only way I can get them to move is to set on offset in the inspector (which doesn't show anything when I select the far left bar lines, the ones I want to modify) or if I change the amount of bars on each line...
Thanks for trying, am I doing something wrong? Any other ideas?

Ooops. I for got an important phrase - from the palette. Drag these items from the appropriate palette, barlines and key signatures. Don't mess with barlines in the inspector, it'll just make a mess and won't work right.

He means drag a barline from the palette to the measure.

You've selected the initial (far left) barline, this is system-generated and can't get changed. But it can get disabled, Style/General Style.../Barlines/Barline at the beginning...
