You should have a "Get help online" button on the Feedback toolbar that takes you to the forum. It should probably go to https://musescore.org/en/node/add/forum?forum_id=6 so the user only needs to enter a title and start typing the question. I suspect the lack of it will lead to a lot of bug reports that are requests for help. There are enough of those already. The button can be a question mark in a dialog bubble.

FWIW, my hope is to indeed have a button to take you to a dedicated page here that would allow you to access not just the forum but also other resources.

A landing page that gives you the option of posting to the forum or finding help in the handbook would be fine. The new page could even have a link the to new glossary when it comes out.
https://musescore.org/en/node/add/forum?forum_id=6 would be the wrong page for non-English speakers, wouldn't it?
So pretty much the current Support landing page?
https://musescore.org/support
and add a link to the glossary there

The page could be "translated" to have the correct forum link on it.
If I'm not mistaken, when your system is set to a language other than English that link should take you to your own language's page. Perhaps it's the page above the link I suggested that does this.
Nope,what is https://musescore.org/en/forum/6 in English, is https://musescore.org/de/forum/52 in German.
There is already an "Ask for Help" item in the "Help" menu that takes the user to https://musescore.org/redirect/post/question?locale=%1, where %1 is replaced with the value of
getLocaleISOCode()
. Surely the request is simply to add a toolbar button that performs the same action?Yes, I am basically talking about a landing page similar to the existing generic musescore.org/support page, but I want to completely redesign this page to make it more friendly and useful. I'd like to remove the existing "ask for help" and "report a bug" items / buttons and replace them with a single "get help" item (well, perhaps duplicated in menu and toolbar). There are a number of reasons for this I am happy to discuss, probably better to do so in forums. So I will start a thread there.

@Anatoly-os, there has been speculation about the future of the leave feedback button. Will it remain in the final version of 3.0. It's not a big deal either way, but it does need to be considered when Marc or someone writes code for this.
I think even if we don't do a grand "online help center" redesign for 3.0 initially, we should still consider replacing the existing "Report a Bug" & "Ask for Help" items in the menu with "Get Help Online" that links to https://musescore.org/en/support (or language-specific version), which is currently just the Support menu on this site. And if the toolbar buttons stay, make that change there too.
