What happened to Delete Selected Measures on the right click menu!!?!? I also don't see "Measures, voices etc" on the edit menu. Help! (Mac Mojave MS3.0.0.19499)
Comments
it is back in a later development build
This is a moby serious deficiency. I need to delete some measures, and there seems no way. This seems to prove that I must be one of the first to try to write an actual new composition with MS3, which is pretty scary. I need to delete some measures. Where can I get the Mac dev build? Are the missing Edit menu items coming back, too? Pointer to the duplicate issue?
(Mac) dev builds are to be found via the download page, like ever since.
And you've not been the 1st to stumble accoss that, you still can delete measures, but it is pretty well hidden, the fix (merged this morning) just enables the corresponding menues again
See #279389: Request to rename "Timewise delete" command (and another, #279491: Cannot delete bars, and #278051: Restore "Delete selected measures" options to menus and #114366: Add "Delete Selected Measures" command to context menu

Thanks. 'ctrl-suppr' (Cmd-delete) works for me, although I'd sure like to be able to exchange voices again.
exchange voices??? Works for me, it got moved from Edit (MuseScore for Mac?) to Tools

Ah, didn't know that (are such changes listed anywhere?), thanks.
well, work on a 3.0 handbook has startet, but only just...
Cmd-delete has stopped working!
Works for me (well, Ctrl-Del does, Windows, not Mac, and latest development build)
The score was .mscx (usual portato need). It just stopped working. Closing and opening didn't fix, but saving as .mscz seemed to make it work again.
Wrong topic?

I dunno, "Delete selected measures gone" seems to describe it pretty well ...
what has The score was .mscx (usual portato need). It just stopped working. Closing and opening didn't fix, but saving as .mscz seemed to make it work again. to with it then?

Sorry. "It" is "Delete Selected Measures", via cmd-delete. The keystroke did not work until I resaved the score as .mscz, after determining that it still worked in other open scores in the same app instance.
Oh, OK. I doubt though that it is related to whether the file is mscx or mscz
It had just mutilated some fermata-related notes near the place I was trying to delete, But then I found I couldn't delete measures anywhere in the score, and closing and opening it didn't help.
Hi all,
I just installed this version and I faced the same issue.
After spending some time I found out that this option now is in:
Tools->Remove Empty Trailing Measures
BR
Valeri
That is another and additional option
