api -ms-win-crt-runtime -l1-1-0.dll is missing
Hi i have Musecore 2.3.2 works perfectly i installed 3.0.0 Beta earlier on Windows 7 64 bit
i got this message first,
Can't be start because api -ms-win-crt-runtime -l1-1-0.dll is missing
so i installed VisualSrudio 2015 then some dll files (i got from somewhere ) into both system32 & Syswow
then reinstlalled 3 beta .
The first error message from Musecore did not appear but the
second error was displayed api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll
Any ideas.
ips since then i have tried manaully adding these .dll into sysWOW64 and Musescore3 bin file
no go, as i said Musescore 2.3.2 perfect.
BTW i can use Musecore3 64b version on Puppy Linix appimage works pretty well, a tiny bit sluggsh,

a quick Google search for that "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" relatively quick leads to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2999226/update-for-universal-c…
I guess that other file, "api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll" is part of the same package.
But indeed I guess we need should make sure these are part of the MuseScore package

Hello has anything been added or fixed re this, i thing a problem is i cannot update (not sure now what)
the Microsoft support thing does not work, a few different dependencies, you install one it then asks for another different .dll type of thing.

api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing error can easily be fixed by updating the windows by repairing Microsoft visual 2015.

This guide unfortunately proposes to download or repair the C++ redistributtable, which is a huge but useless program for anyone who is not a programmer, or perform a massive Windows update with unpredictable consequences.
I've found a solution that works here:

I've installed this tiny program (~ 1 Mb) and MuseScore did unlock. However, the start center appears black. Not very important for a seasoned user, but it might discourage beginners.
I don't know if it is related to some non-fatal residual problem from an incomplete dll repair or what. I did not restarted the system. When I do so I'll update.
