Musescore 3 doesn't open
I can get it to run by adding -s, but that means I have no playback which is not ideal for me.
I peaked at the windows event log and got the following:

I've tried uninstall/reinstall, doing -F, deleting the folders in appdata and checking if I had any incompatible software.
I'm at a loss on what to do besides just rolling back to musescore 2.
Hoping someone here can help :)

This indicates that MuseScore doesn't like your sound system for some reason
There is no roll back to 2.x, as 3.0 is not really an update to that. You can run both at the same time on the same computer

yeah I decided to reinstall musescore 2 which works without issue.
I will simply keep to that and look out for any suggestions because I really don't know where to start debugging as I haven't changed anything audio-wise on my PC for a long time.

Tell us about your sound system and perhaps someone will be able to find the issue and fix it in the future.

Got a pair of Sennheiser hd 650s hooked up to a Fulla 2 from Schiit.
I'm using Realtek audio, running on windows 10.
That's about it.
