They do work for me, when looking at your score. Sure you have 'Play Repeats' (that ":|" icon in the toolbar) enabled?
BTW: you may want to check https://musescore.org/en/node/267614 for creating ties into the 2nd volta
I confirmed: when "Play Repeats" is enabled, the repeat sign is still not obeyed in playing.

it certainly is working, there got to something wong with your score, so attach here for being able to have a look

Sorry for the delay in the situation report. I can now successfully "repeat" with my score.

Found out the reason. I added the "End repeat" to one of my parts. But it was not added to the score. In version 2.0, such change made in the part would apply to the score as well. Should this to be considered as a regression?
