Musescore 3 crashes when opening a file
Every time that I try to open a particular score, it results in musescore 3 becoming unresponsive. I suspect that the file has been damaged or corrupted somehow, but I don't know how to fix it when it won't open. I've tried uploading the file to the musescore website but it seems to be unable to process. Is there any way that this file could be recovered?

Search for a backup, see https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
And attach the score here so we can check.

I have tried to find a backup and could not find one, it is a pretty new file, and had not saved a backup version since I started inputing notes.

There may still be the auto-saved versions

Hmm, OK, I can confirm that it apparently shoots MuseScore into an infinite loop, even in the latest development version in DEBUG mode
Tons of the same message gets printed:
Debug: overlap measure 55680 at 1680-2160 track 4 (...\MuseScore\libmscore\check.cpp:373, void Ms::Measure::checkMeasure(int))
Mind to add this to the issue tracker?

I think so. Maybe it could be useful, if the OP would attache the last backup file to compare the difference to the attached file?
