Update 3.0.2 will not load by windows installer

I get an error when I try to update Musescore with the new update. Windows said to check with the vendor to verify if this is a valid windows installer package. I have windows 10.

Are you trying to install a 64bit version of MuseScore in a 32bit version of Windows?

Can't update nor download Musescore 3.0.2. Installation file 64-bits version seems to be 0 bytes.

Not for me, the MuseScore-3.0.2msi I get from https://musescore.org/en/download is ~98MB

That's weird. See image for result on my computer. Windows is 64 bits. (Win 10 Enterprise)

32-bits version of msi is not empty (94 MB I believe)

Problem solved. This morning download was 90+ MB. I didn't do anything else than yesterday. PC was not restarted in the meanwhile.

The solution in the link you mentioned is to reinstall Windows and to avoid using the msi file. Sorry, but in my ears this doesn't sound as a simple fix.

Well, it is solved. I am not sure what I was doing, but I easily installed the update. I think I may have been right clicking instead of left clicking. Anyway, the problem is solved.
