Can't open this file despite looking through forums fro help (i think)
Computer shut down suddenly last night, and I thought I saved it, but it appears not. Desperately need this score for my dissertation. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just looking at the file. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Have done everything in that link, and asking others about hidden files and folders but still cannot get it.

Which OS you're using?
AFAIK (other should correct me if I'm wrong), you'll find only an autosaved version after a crash. But you didn't wrote about a crash, only about the shutdown before.
But you should find a "last saved version" if you did open the score at least in a second session. Be aware of making visible hidden files with your OS.
