Repeat signs
I just downloaded Musescore 3. The repeats signs are not working. They neither work on scores that I've already written and new scores.

Do you have the Play repeats button clicked on in the tool bar? It looks like a repeat line.

I did not have it clicked. That is something new. I put in a new repeat (I had been copying and pasting repeats because they wouldn't play) and it worked! Thanks!
I downloaded Musescore 3.0.2.2. I noticed there is a new version: 3.0.4.2. It mentions repeats.

Version 3.0.4 fixes a lot of bugs, but has problems on many Macs, so I would suggest that you download 3.0.4 if you don't have a Mac.
I've not seen anyone have problems with repeats not playing unless they do something wrong since the release of 3.0. If you have the repeats button clicked on on the toolbar, then attach your score and explain where the problem is so someone can look at it for you.

I do hava a Mac. The repeat signs worked fine on 3.0.2, without clicking on a repeat sign in the toolbar. I appreciate your comment about 3.04. I will stick with this one for a while.

Attach the score where the repeat is not working and someone can look at it.

To be clear: in all versions of MuseScore, that button is already turned on by default. But if you ever accidentally (or on purpose) turn it off, it stays turned off until you turn it back on.
