It does not work with my Windows 7 Professional. I have tried it several times and the program shutdown.

Could it be that your hardware is so old it lacks SSE support? See #31361: MuseScore 2.0 beta 1 crashes on startup (requires SSE2 instruction set). Otherwise, probably there is some sort of driver conflict, check the "Known incompatibilities" section of the Handbook but chances are this is a new one.

I am using Musescore 2.3.2 and there are no problems. I don't have the money to upgrade a four year old computer. I ran a compatibility report and it showed that the Musescore 3 was not compatible with my Windows program. I am just going to use Musescore 2.3.2 for now.

There is a 32 bit version that should work on your system. The link is below the 64 bit version on the main download page.

Marc is correct, my hardware is outdated and so Musescore 3 is not compatible with my computer. As long as my publisher is happy with what I am dong, upgrading to MS3 is not that important.
I am also having issues using MacBook Pro. After the recent "update", the program attempts to open and then shuts down. I removed it, reloaded and the same thing is happening. I think there is a bug in the most recent update. Wish I had not updated!
