Quite simple. just use musescore for a good amount of time. It ranges from about 1 hour, to up to 4 hours before I've faced it.

I haven't seen this and I've logged more than just a few hours, could be something with your particular system. Looks like Windows? We'd need steps to reproduce the problem in order to do much about it. Is it always about the drum palette for you? Have you customized its location? Does this occur only in dark mode? Anything else you can think that might be a common element to these occurrences?
Would soundfonts have the ability to affect the UI Layout? I do have another soundfont working with the default.

Yeah, that issue is slightly different. My input button doesn't freeze, and I have no problem editing other parts of the documents. It is only with percussion.
