Clef before barline rather than after
I'm transcribing a vocal solo to transpose for a student. The accompaniment right hand changes clefs. In the printed music, the clef is always placed to the left of (before) the barline. But when I click on the first note of the [non-first] measure, most of the time the clef is placed to the right of the barline - within the measure where it changes.
I can't seem to force it to the left of the barline. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have a solution? The only time it went to the left was the double bar line for the opening of a repeated section.
(This is not concerning the courtesy clef that would appear at the end of a system when the clef changes on the next system.)
Thanks for any help!

Drag the clef to the measures. When the entire measure is pink, release it and it will show up before the barline.
