Select all the notes you want. If it's all the notes in a section the select all of those measure and press 'F8' to bring up the inspector. A button at the bottom will say "Notes," click it. In the third section of the box the word "stemless" will appear next to a check box. check it and press 'F8' and your stemless notes will be left.
You probably want all of the score to be stemless. The easiest way to select the entire score is ctrl-a.

Got it. Thanks!
When I do this, the beam remains. I can only seem to remove the beam by going through measure by measure. Is there an easy way to remove the beams as well?

I don't know why the first solution doesn't work for me. Can't figure that out, but I figured out another way.
1. right click on the staff
2. click on 'staff properties'
3. click the 'advanced style properties' box
4. click the 'Note Values' tab
5. for the 'shown as' row, click 'none'

You're clicking the tablature staff and that's how it works there. If you want the beams to disappear on the other staff right click that, choose advanced style properties and check Stemless.
