missing slur from grace note to main note
I expect the software to put a slur between a grace note and a main note, but it doesn't and I can't add a slur manually. Otherwise, the grace note itself works just fine.

You can manually, select the grace note and press S, then Esc.

Thanks for your quick answer, Jojo. Unfortunately, this doesn't result in a slur between the grace note and the main note, but in a dot below the grace note

Then you have setup s as a shortcut for staccato rather than slur, and need to use a slur from the lines palette.

My initial problem was that the slur from the lines palette doesn't work for me.
By the way, I just found out that using a 's' instead of an 'S' does do the trick.
Notwithstanding, as I think that all grace notes need to be slurred, I'd like to see slurred grace notes as the default option.

Just as a hint/tip if for the future. When you read through our handbook and/or the forum, you'll notice that all keyboard shortcuts are nearly always notated as capital letters, to match the actual symbol on the key of the keyboard.
So when Jojo said, press 'S' he meant just that one key S
The 'S' you mentioned is actually a key combination to which we refer as Shift+S or Shift+S

This is actually a bug that has been discussed before. To add a slur between grace notes and main notes, you need to click one of the notes and ctrl+click the note at the other end of the slur then press S or double click the palette item.

Thanks, Mike. I looked at the link you provided. You are right, the problem was discussed almost four months ago and I didn't look that for back to see whether it has been discussed before. I do hope it will get fixed one of these days.
