To expand on that a little :-) - MuseScore doesn't include any artificial intelligence to do that for you, but it's a fairly simple matter to start a new lead sheet and copy and paste appropriate sections over. You'll have to figure out for yourself which sections to copy, also what chord symbols you want to use, etc.

I was wondering about AI doing that very thing this week. I'm creating an Irish party band and want to be able to offer deps either a pad with just their instrument's notes in, or a lead sheet cribbed from the score.
Sounds like a job for either manual me or clever old AI!
