How to specify that first note(s) be only played in repeats?
Arabic music is full of melody lines that end on the first beat of the next measure - the opposite of the pick-up beat if you will. How to represent that with repeats?
I'm attaching here an example: in measure 3, the first 16th-note A represents the ending of the melody at measure 7.

Select the note you want to start after the repeat and use Edit->Measures->Split measure before selected note. You can then insert an end repeat there. This is not uncommon in western music either.
Thinking more about your question and making it make sense. I suspect you want to do basically the same thing in measure 3 so you can move the start repeat after the A there.
