Diagonal line position is not preserved.
With automatic placement turned off and diagonal checked, a line placed at a diagonal does not retain its position when the file is reloaded after being saved.

As requested, a sample score with the problem. Also attached are two screenshots showing the line position 'as saved' and the line position end relocated in the 'as reopened' file.

This may be because it is a file generated with an old version. I tried to copy and paste with 3.0.5

The original was, but I imported it into 3.0.5 and modified it. I did not remove or change the original attribution.
Works for me, so indeed a sample score and/or exact steps to reproduce are needed
