Guitar Slide Playback
What's the best way to get guitar playback to sound like a slide from fret 7 to 5, where fret 6 is only a transient? I have tried slur and glissando but they don't produce the effect. Bend looked a possibility but it appears that you can only bend a note upwards, not downwards.
( Using Musescore 2.3.2 )

Enter the lower note, start with the bend up and let it slide down to the "normal" note. Then make all of that hidden.

Neat!
Unfortunately the bend effect did not play back properly in the Songbook Android app so I'm going to have to try something else. That's a pity because Musescore for Windows did a good job with it.

I will – but I don't hold out much hope for a fix. Tablature has gone from bad to worse in the app with fret numbers now displayed inside an outlined square, making them difficult to read. I have been staying with the Songbook app as there are just so many rendering issues with the new app and they don't seem to be getting addressed.
