Text size
I wish to add some text above the stave, which I have done. However, it is too small. When I use 'edit element' the text box appears at the bottom of the screen. I have changed this, but it does not change the actual text. How do I get it to do that please?

either select the characters you want to chane the size in and then ise that text tool to incerase them, or use the inspector, which increases the whole string

Sorry, but I don't understand you. I select the characters (a box appears around them) then what? How do I access the text tool please? And what is the inspector?

Select it, open Inspector, set Font size

Inspector existed in Musescore 2 already :-)

MuseScore 1 indeed didn't have an Inspctor. But is also very old meanwhile.
