FINALE USERS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Hello out there. I'm wondering if there are any other Finale users posting on Musescore.
Until this last update I been able to export my Finale files as MXL.
Once I uploaded the MXL files to Musescore I had to change Percussion Parts patch from standard to standard 1 in order to get percussion sounds.
I could then save that file as a Musescore file and then upload it to the website.
Ever since the software update I have been unable to save the percussion patch as standard one. It always reverts back to standard when saved.
My response from the Muse score team has been as follows, "Sorry for the inconvenience, but MuseScore is an open-source, free project, so all questions should be directed to the Forum."
That response makes no sense. Just how is talking about this on the form going to correct a code mistake?
So, if anybody knows how to fix this I'd sure appreciate knowing.

You don't upload the MXL files to Musscore, you either import them into the MuseScore program, or upload the resulting mscz to musescore.com (direktly or via Save online).
The response you got was from the MuseSore .com team, and rightfully so they redirected you to here, the forums on musescore.**org*. That response makes perfet sense, as they don't maintain the program, just that website and the iOS and Androus apps.
And here, in https://musescore.org/en/node/289846#comment-924074, just today this was confirmed to be a bug and regression in 3.1 vs. 3.0.5 and you have been asked to enter it into the issue tracker, which you hav'en't done yet.

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN DESCRIBING THAT I AM DOING.

SO THE PEOPLE WHO MAINTAIN THE WEBSITE ARE NOT THE MUSESCORE 3 APP CODERS? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT?

HOW DO WE CONTACT THOSE PEOPLE WHO MAINTAIN THE MUSESCORE 3 APP? ON THE FORUM?
I don't have the faintest idea what ANDROUS APP is.

Androus is a typo for Android...
You contact the developers via the forum and issue tracker here on musescore.org.

I think I've got it reported now. I feel like someone must feel when they don't understand the primary language of the environment they're in.

Don't feel bad please. We appreciate the feedback so we can take a look at what's happening. I see you filed #290206: Drumset not stored on scores imported from Finale and we do appreciate it. There have been notes entered in the other issue to assure your issue is also fixed.
