Bari sax not transposing properly in bari sax 'part'
Hi all
with my score in "concert" the bari sax is in bass clef as expected and in 1# - see picture 01
When I press the "Concert Pitch" button it transposes to treble clef and adds several #s (as expected) see picture 02
However when I click on the bari 'part' it is back in bass clef see picture 03 and the Concert Pitch button has somehow turned Grey again. So its now in the right 'key' but the wrong clef.
Am I doing something stupid?

ps this is NOT a transposition question. I understand transposition.

This is a 3.0.5 bug. When you press concert pitch and use file->Parts in 3.0.5 this is what you get. It was fixed in 3.1.

I thought I had opened it up in 3.1 that I just downloaded. Obviously not! Thanks Mike. I'll try again

It is in 3.1
OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.1.0.7078, revision: e26f7c4

Your score was created in 3.0.5. 3.1 does not fix the problem with an existing score, so you need to delete the parts and create them again to fix it.

Thanks Mike, that worked a treat. Shame it doesn't fix problems it created. Fortunately, the part didn't take too much bashing into shape. Thanks again.

It would be nice if the fix were automatic, but it would take a lot of code that couldn't be taken out until version 4 and has the potential to create new bugs. In this environment where it's so easy to get help I think this is sufficient.

I don't think deleting and recreating parts is needed, instead just change the key sig of the master score twice, 2ND time back to what it was before. That should get it to senses
