How To Make Added Rests Invisible Automatically?
I can make Rest Signs invisible by selecting them all and going to inspector and unclick "Visible"
Is there an option for making new rest signs invisible automatically?

Every time you enter a rest press "V" immediately before inputing another rest/note?

Yes but this turns all rests invisible... Don't think that looks nice in a score :-o

I believe this is the OP's intention though
Why so you want your new rests invisible? knowing that might allow us to helpyou do what you want easier.

Thank you very much for the answers.
Autohide for rests in voices 2 and/or 3 and/or 4 would be VERY useful in guitar TAB, (so useful that it is a feature in Guitar Pro). The reason for this becomes clearer when you are scoring TAB in 3 or 4 voices, (common in fingerpicking and classical music), as there can be so many rests that the notes start to get obscured. This means that you really need to hide them as you enter the score rather than waiting until the end, but this is labour intensive without an autohide function.
The rests in voices 2, 3 and 4 are often automatically generated by MS so it's not a simple case of immediately pressing "V". The rests have to be manually selected and then "V" can be used.
Voice 1 rests are required because this is the primary voice and is typically the melody, so these rests are helpful.

If you are entering notes in voice 2, 3, or 4, your cursor must must at some point select every rest unless you are using the mouse for note entry, in which case it's taking forever already. I often make rests in voice 2 invisible: I press the duration, 0 then v and this makes it invisible in note entry mode and puts the cursor on the next rest/note. This is far from labor intensive.
I'm not saying you can't submit a suggestion to add this feature. Go ahead at https://musescore.org/en/node/add/project_issue?pid=1236 and give it a severity of S5 - suggestion.

In your scenario every "V" could be avoided if autohide rests was available. This would make score entry even more efficient.
However, things aren't always this easy. For example, in picture Voice1 I have entered 8 quavers using the keyboard.
Then I switch to Voice2 and add a single quaver, resulting in several rests which I don't want. I just want to move on to bar 2.
This gets more complicated with 3 or 4 voices as the rests often overlap existing notes which makes it hard to see what you're doing.

In tablature, rests are usually not shown by defualt. This option already exists. Right click a tabalture staff, choose staff/part properties, click Advanced style settings, click the Note Values tab and make sure Show Rests is not checked.
Rests in a tablature are a totally different story than a standard staff.

Thanks, I hadn't spotted that option!
It works very well but could benefit from a couple of tweaks:
1) Allow the setting to be voice specific
2) Allow manually entered rests to be visible
