The short instrument names are in the maesuresline. And I can't find a places where I can replaces them.

Score needed, from a picture we can't analyze.
Instrument names are reachable via staff properties
If I had to to guess what's wrong here, I'd say the vertical offset of the instrument name text style is set to something other than 0

You need to open Format->Style... go to Text Styles and Instrument Name (short) and rest the offset to 0. You currently have x=2.something and it's moved on top of the bracket.
