Problem with update : can't create icon
Hello,
I try to install the update for musescore but the installation is aborted because it can't create icon. I try to download the software but it is the same.
An idea ?

I can't launch the exe files in Adminsitrator (there are not this option with right button). But I have Total access on the files.
If I launch Musescore 3 as Administrator, and if I launch the update, I have always the same error.

What exe file? The installer packages come as .msi files

Oops sorry, It is the msi files.
What is the exact text of the error message? Sounds like somehow you don't have permission in your own Desktop folder.

I have the permission to install this. Last week, I had no error.

Have you tried searching the web for the error?

As I said, it sure looks like you are missing write permission on that folder. Right-click the folder and go to Properties to check, and hopefully fix it. Probably some installation you did within the past week you did as administrator and that reset the permissions.

Ok problem resolve... I make updates for Windows 10, and installation successful.
