Settings (Auto??)
Recently, my Musescore is slowly making the font bigger and making everything fuzzy. I reset all of my settings to the factory settings and it continues to grow and make everything a blur. Help!! :(

Which font do you mean? SOmething int he score, something about the menus and dialog boxes, or what? Please give more information, including what OS you are on, what version of MuseScore, attach the score you are having trouble with, and a screen shot of what things look like on your system.
Yes I'm having this issue too! I'm on Windows 10 Pro and I've tried resetting to factory settings as well. However, mine hasn't been slowly, it seems like all of the sudden it got like 2x bigger. The score is just fine, it's all the other stuff like the workspaces and the stuff on top is suddenly huge. I'm using MuseScore 3 as well. I've attached a screenshot so you can see what it looks like for me.

Did you add the MDL extension? Some people have reported similar things as a side effect.

I haven't for this version. I did when MuseScore 2 was the most up-to-date version, but I haven't reinstalled it for MuseScore 3. When I went into my preferences to see if I could do the changes you described, I couldn't make sure they were actually done. I couldn't scroll down and click Apply or OK.

Seems MuseScore is not detecting your monitor resolution correctly - is it connected in an unusual way ()eg, a TV set connected via VGA?). You can override the resolution detection using the "-D xxx" command line option, substituting the actual DPI of your monitor.

I'm using a Surface Pro, so maybe that's messing with it? I haven't had this issue before and I've used MuseScore plenty of times on this device. Also where can I find that "-D xxx" you're talking about?

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/command-line-options and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings#instruction…

Just for reference, this is what it looks like with 25 DPI.

So I tried that and put in the actual DPI of my monitor, 149.47 in case you're curious, and I get this. When I fiddled around with that number, I noticed that the noteheads on the note input toolbar and the score got larger or smaller depending on what number I put in, but the size of everything doesn't change. Would uninstalling and reinstalling fix it?

That image looks right to me.
Reinstalling almost never fixes anything, except in cases of a corrupt installation.
What scaling is the Windows display setting set to? You need to take that into account for the DPI setting to choose

Yes that happens to me!

If MDL installed (?), considered by design, see: https://musescore.org/en/node/288099#comment-914911
"MDL does change workspace layout and does reduce the number of options in the palette. The options removed are unnecessary. If you have MDL installed and wish to write for other types of instruments/ensembles, simply toggle between workspaces."

If you want MDL, then make sure it's installed. After this, open Edit->Preferences and change the font and icon sizes in the General tab. This is backwards, but If the display looks good, look at these settings, then install the MDL and reset these values to pre MDL settings. Otherwise, my font size is 8 and icon sizes are 24 and 20 if you want a starting point.
