MUSESCORE 3.2.3 7635
Hi everyone,
Firstly, I want to know if the above version is stable. I ask this because when I click on play in Musescore, it takes approximately 24 seconds to begin playing. However, once it starts playing and I stop it to edit things, it starts to play immediately when I click on the PLAY button.
Thank you. I look forward to your replies. Enjoy this day.

Yes it is. That delay in playback is normal too, and not new with this version, it is due to the soundfont being loaded (actually: uncompressed) in the background. Workaround: instead of the default SF3 soundfont find, install and use the corresponding SF2 one (which is much larger, but/because uncompressed)
It's not normal that it would take 24 seconds unless you have some very large soundfonts loaded (eg, using MDL, although that delay is usually you can even get to that point, and it's normally longer than 24 seconds). In most cases, though, any delay would be only a second or two. What do you see in View / Synthesizer, on the Fluid and Zerberus tabs?

24 seconds sounds about right for my computer. The only compressed soundfont I have the the default sf3.

24 seconds after startup, so there is a delay that long after pressing Play? For me, the startup itself could take that long if I have a lot of files to be displayed in the Start Center that don't already have thumbnails (eg, MSCX files, or files imported from 1.x), but if I disable the start center or start directly by double-clicking a file, startup is only a few seconds, and playback starts within just a few seconds more (under 5 seconds total). I guess a lot depends on the speed of your computer, but mine is average at best for current models.

If I open MuseScore, change to my score I'm working on and press play immediately, there is probably about 1/2 a minute delay. I've haven't put a timer on it, but that seems about right.

Instead of opening MuseScore first, just start by double-clicking a file. When MuseScore opens with your file, press Play.
Any faster, or same delay?

15 sconds from starting MuseScore 3.2.3 with last session until playback of the score from that last session starts. Windows 7, 4 cores + hyperthreading, 8GB RAM
But IIRC it also depends on the score the instrumets and their number, like for plain piano scores playpack starts almost immediately, the piano sound being the first in the soundfont
