popup help 'balloons' gets cuts off
I’m not sure if this is a MuseScore problem as it exists on Mac OS but not on Windows.
The yellow box containing the popup ’balloon’ help messages is too narrow. This is an issue with long popup texts. In some of the Danish translations one fourth of the text is missing.
The last of "bassa" is missing

I know that these balloon-help boxes can dynamically adjust themselves. (At least in Windows) *1
Which operating system are you using?
What's the MuseScore version?
*1: Maybe I'm wrong, does the translator need to set length for these boxes in advance?

Yes, as I wrote above... I don't find this issue with Windows, but with Mac OS.
I'm running High Sierra Version 10.13.6.

I'm sorry, I guess the first line of your article was left above the browser and I didn't see it. (I may have touched scroll-wheel)
Someone mentioned this on Telegram also. In that report, the font on Telegram had obviously been changed. Your font looks a little different. I'm curious if you did something to change the font.

That's a good point. However I haven't changed the default font on my iMac.
In MuseScore I'm using the standard FreeSerif all over. But then I don't think you can control/change the popup text font in MuseScore (as a user).

Perhaps it's some system setting. I'm not familiar with Mac at all.

The font for the UI would be set in Edit / Preferences, but different OS's will handle aspects of this differently.

Thank you. The standard font in MuseScore on Mac is ".SF NS TEXT" (!).
I changed it to "Tahoma" and everything looks fine now.
