MuseScore would never ever remove a score, so if it is gone, the culprity got to be something/someone else
And of course you can attache it here.
If you upload it to musescore.com though it'll be unpublished pretty quickly, due to copyright claims
Sorry I didn't explain that clearly. The arrangement file doesn't show up when I open the muse score program. All my other arrangements are present except for this one. So I used the shortcut file saved on my desktop. When I attempt to click on the file to open it using muse score, a notification pops up saying "The file cannot be found". I was wondering why is my arrangement not showing up in the muse score system. Even without the shortcut file, the arrangement is still not in the program when I open it.
Scores are not saved to some magic place within the program, they are jsut ordinary foiles on your computer's hard drive. If it's not in the folder you are looking for it in, it's probably in some other folder, but we can't really help you figure that out - you'll need to remember what folder you saved it to, or else do a search of your computer for that (eg, using Windows Explorer or macOS Finder).
If you have trouble finding the file, it might be worthwhile to find someone who lives near who and knows their way around computers, they might be able to help you figure out where you saved it.

Or is it that what you mean?
