I DO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE, IT DOESN'T EVEN CREATE A FILE WHATSOEVER. I'M SENDING MY SCORE, BUT THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I TRY TO EXPORT, EITHER IN VERSION 2 OR 3.2
Works fine for me in 3.2.3 with the posted file. Are you sure you are selecting MIDI as the output format, and that you are waiting for the file to be saved? Are you looking for the file in the same folder it saved in? Be sure to check the folder when the file dialog appears.
Indeed, it's a midi import, for a reason I can't explain, my medeli keyboard only reads scores exported from musescore and not from finale... Many thanks for your help, but my musescore is still not saving midi exports, I will try reinstalling it.
Can you be more precise about exactly what you are you doing, and what is happening to make you believe it didn't work? Here's what should work:
1) open a score in MuseScore
2) File / Export
3) Choose MIDI as the format
4) Choose a folder and filename (important - don't assume you know what folder is being used, actually check!)
5) press Save
6) wait a few seconds (longer if the score is long)
7) open your favorite file browser (eg, File Explorer on Windows, Finder on macOS)
8) browse to that same folder you exported to
9) the file you exported should be present
If you are following these step precisely and it still isn't working, please attach screenshots of the export dialog at step 4 and then a screenshot of the file browser showing that same folder. To make it clear, maybe choose an otherwise empty folder.
I'm attaching screenshots of both the dialog box and the explorer. You can verify that no less than two minutes separate both images. I don't know what could be wrong.
It appears fro the score and screenshots that you are using MuseScore 2, and a translated version. There was a bug as I recall in some older version involving translations where the names of the export formats were translated incorrectly leading to some failures, perhaps you are seeing something like that. Please try again in MuseScore 3.2.3, and as I suggested, please use a folder with nothing else in it for testing purposes.
Thank you very much. I exported files previously with the same software and there were no problems until the last week, I will install the latest version and try again. Rest assured, I'll be following up with the outcome.

Works fine in 2.3.2 too (which that score stems from, and, strange enough, as a MIDI import)

Hi Marc,

Thanks

Marc,
I performed the test again in a MuseScore 3.2.3 version just downloaded and installed and it worked properly.
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Manuel
