Saving File
After updating Mac OS to 10.15 Catalina every attempt to save the MuseScore file (.mscx) basically freezes the application followed by eventual crash. This has rendered the application unusable.
Crash report is attached as a Word doc. I don't know if the Save File problem is included in the crash report but please attempt to recreate and fix the compatibility issue.

I use MuseScore 3 (3.3 beta) on Catalina every day without problem.

I know. Did you give MuseScore permission to write the Documents file tree in the App permissions in System Preferences > Privacy?

Excellent suggestion! I checked and MuseScore has full disk access. Apparently, problem with consistent saving of MuseScore music files involves a conflict on my MacBook Pro and iMac. If so, then this conflict occurred when I upgraded the OS to Catalina. I might try resetting all preference settings to factory default.

Are you sure it's the same MuseScore, i.e., do you have multiple versions of MuseScore? The access must be given to them individually.
