pizz.
i think i opened View>Palettes and at the bottom there was a box and i typed in "pizz" and it added it to the score but for all the notes following and when i went back to find it to then try arco i couldn't find how i had entered pizz; can someone help me with this? i don't want to get into the inspector or other coplicated manouevers.

I suspect you used the search box. The text is in the Text palette in the advanced workspace if you want to look there.

thanks anyhow. it would be so much easier if this sort of info was readily searchable in the handbook. i am feeling awkward making so many posts here!

i found it; the box at the bottom pparently opens when you just click on Palettes and closes if you click on one of the listed choices, but i typed in arco this time and it stopped the pizz ging forward, without inspector cluzot!
