Transpose and Change Tempo at the Same Time
Hello Friends –
This may be my own inadequacy, but what flummoxes me is this: on the laptop I can change the tempo of a score flexibly to make it play slower or also faster, say at 130% of the original tempo. But I can't transpose the piece. For this I'm guided to the app for my iPhone.
On the app I can transpose the piece just fine, but I can only slow it down, there seems to be no way to make it play faster than 100%. Why oh why is this? And how do I now combine the two functionalities so the score will play both faster and in a different key?
Thanks so much for any help you can give.

Thanks for this. I'm clearly missing something. I can't even select notes, let alone open the transpose dialogue box...

Don't be offended if this sounds really stupid, but do you have MuseScore open with a score in it? We need to figure out where the problem is so we'll have to start at the beginning.

Haha, no it's good sometimes to start at the very beginning, but see JoJo-Schmitz's post below, I think he may have hit on the 'issue'...
Oh,I see now, you're talking about playback on the musescore.com website (and the mobile app too)
Her on musescore.org we're talking about the MuseScore program for Windows, macOS, Linux.

Ah, yes, I have the score open on musescrore.com – I didn't even realise I somehow made it onto musescore.org, or indeed that there is a MuseScore program for macOS. I suppose I better get that then – unless I can achieve what I'm trying to achieve on the musescore.com website?

And indeed, bingo: now, with the app installed, everything works beautifully and I access to the whole wide range of tools. Many thanks for your help!
