Updating Issues
I wanted to try RNA when I heard it was in the new update, but the MuseScore I'm using doesn't mention anything about updates! Not in the preferences menu, not in the help tab, nowhere! Is it at all possible to fix this?

You probably have automatic update checking turned of in Edit->Preferences->Update. You can manually check for an update using Help->Check for update. Note that not all Linux flavors of MuseScore have been updated so you with either need to use the AppImage or wait for your maintainer to do his thing if you use Linux.

You already have the preferences dialog box open. Click the Update tab to make sure you have the correct option selected.

The lack of the update tab indicates that you're running the Window store version of MuseScore. There the update takes longer, Microsoft need time to check, and I'm not sure an updated version has been sent to them already

The version for the Windows Store has not yet been created and so not yet been sent to Microsoft.
Or you are using the Windows store version. There you'd just have to wait until that got updated too

My Mac version generally tells me when new releases become available, but it did not when 3.3-real was released.

Same here on my windows 10 pc’s.
I get mine from the MS website, not windows store.

I got the update on both, Windows 10 and 7 via that update function under Help > Check for update (or the like, I'm using the German version)

@BSG The autoupdater for Mac is active, others got it that way
