MuseScore 3.3.0 Problem with DS (regular and segno variation,) ignoring bar repeats contained in the jump.
I searched but didn't find this exact problem. The problem exists in jumps that, when taken, include bar repeats.
1) Jumps of the type Del segno both with the regular segno) and the segno variation start properly from the segno (or the segno variation ).
2) The jumps have their Play Repeat box set with the inspector.
3) The problem is that when on the jump they ignore bar repeats that played correctly before taking the jump.
In comparison, similar jumps of the type DC do include repeats found inside the body of the jump.
Also, for comparison, more complex jumps of the type DS al Coda (both with regular segno or segno variation work properly.
I am including scores (version 3.3.0.8737 ) showing what works and what doesn't. The file SIMPLE JUMPS is the one with the problems.

Sounds like the same problem as in https://musescore.org/en/node/296841
No, that's another problem.
I'm used to it because I work hard with the medleys.
Workaround or Feature:
Wherever you use a DS sign, you should put a section break here. (And set the "pause" from the right-click menu {Section-Break properties} to 0 seconds )
See attachment pls.

Very interesting sample file...
If the section break at measure 8 is replaced with a regular system (line) break, the 'nested' D.C. will then play during the repeat (along with all the barline repeats).

Thanks for your response. The "nested" DCs worked, but the barline repeats with DS or segno variation - once the jump took place - were the ones that played only once. I'll also try your suggestion of the line break. Seems that al least these two breaks make the barline repeats work.... curious!

Yes, I saw that, and that's what Ziya's attaced file (SIMPLE JUMPS-z-Corrected.mscz) fixed. It did, however, kill the nested D.C.
So, if desired, to restore the nested D.C. ...
Take his file and replace the section break at measure 8 with a regular system (line) break. See attachment.

Thanks for the prompt reply ! Definitely adding the Section Breaks (inspector calls them Layout Breaks) works. Why ? I'm not too sure :-). What I find strange is than in my other files, jumps more complicated than a simple DS from segno or segno variation -like from the segno/varsegno to codas - do play the included barline repeats!. Well, if it ain't broken (and your approach certainly works),.... although then your approach could be mentioned somewhere. Again thanks for your answer. The section break seems less intrusive than the line break also mentioned in the post. Seem like generically, breaks make it work !

Section Break, System Break and Page Break are all Layout breaks

Thanks for the clarification. The inspector does not include any other property. The properties are found, as one of the previous contributors indicated, by right-clicking on the object.

Yes, indeed (and sorry I missed to mention that), those are expected to move into the Inspector soon, see https://musescore.org/en/node/296410#comment-957101
All of these play as they should in my testbuild of https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/6248. So maybe this gets fixed in 3.5, otherwise it'll be in MS4

Fixed for 3.5.1
