Empty Space at beginning of song.

Hi there is an empty space in the first measure, and I don't know how it got there or how to remove it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

That indeed brings it back to senses. In treble clef piano staff's timesig is (was) missing

Actually not missing but with a huge offset:

          <TimeSig>
            <offset x="-54.7876" y="-49.5891"/>
            <sigN>4</sigN>
            <sigD>4</sigD>
            </TimeSig>

So better fix: right-click one timesig, select all similar and then hit Ctrl+R

I was having the same problem with a bunch of space ahead of the notes in measure which
was actually pushing the notes off the page.
Luckily, after searching around and pulling my hair out for an hour or two, I stumbled across this conversation which fixed the problem.
