Following with the thread posted below i'll put the thing here for ask for a better image quality capability on Musescore when exporting to PDF. ^^
This is the thread (with pictures examples):

Is not a 'new thread' in fact, im doing a feature request.
Greets.

As said in that other thread, there's no issue, it is sharp and cripsy, so nothing to improve.
But there is something to investigate: why it isn't for you.
In reply to As said in that other thread… by Jojo-Schmitz
Theres no issue AS YOU SEE IT.
But not as I SEE.-

That's why we're discussing it, there ;-)
In reply to That's why we're discussing… by Jojo-Schmitz
But im not discussing it. I want it to be capable of 'non vector' viewers like Foxit or wtv. Adobe Acrobat is crap. dont like it.
Maybe they can add an option when exporting so we can choose.

Who is "they"?
And you have that option already: use your PDF printer, it does exactly what you want it to fo for you.

'They' are the Musescore developers.
Thats not an 'option' really, is a workaround.
In reply to 'They' are Musescore… by victor.tabas
There is no "They" in open source, just an "us" or "we" and that includes you ;-)
It is a workaround, sure, but not one for a shortcomming of MuseScore, it is (meanwhile proven) a shortcoming of Foxit.
In reply to There is no "They" in open… by Jojo-Schmitz
Thats what YOU think.
Maybe some people thinks like me, so, respect my viewpoint please. Bye.

Your Foxit PDF reader produces blurry images from verctorized PDFs, no other PDF reader does this for anyone else so far.
Actually bitmap won't help, that PDF printer files you shared is vectotrized too.
So it seems Foxit has a problem rendering embeded fonts maybe?
Anyway, best bring this up with Foxit, it apparently is their problem. Or an issue with your version, installation or setup
In reply to Your Foxit PDF reader… by Jojo-Schmitz
Dunno... maybe compression... If the Cute PDF Writer is vectorized too but file size is 3 times bigger maybe is that...
I dont think is DPI.. i tried more DPI on Musescore and file didnt get any bigger.
In reply to There is no "They" in open… by Jojo-Schmitz
I use foxit and have no issue with MuseScore exports. Please check your installation before blaming MuseScore

Ive updated to last Foxit version and problem persists. Please check your eyes. Thanks.
I tried 'Slim PDF Reader' too and have the same issue, so there is a problem on how they manage the files: vector rendering capable or not. Thats the thing it seems. (don't know really)
But.. Musescore should consider that, because Foxit are one of the most popular readers and it seems that other readers use the same system too.
So i request Musescore (they, us, we.. WTV) to give us the solution and let us choose when exporting a PDF what system to use.

Go ahead and code it ;-)
BTW I really doubt Foxit being the most popular PDF reader, that surely is Adobe, even if you don't want to hear that ;-)
In reply to Go ahead and code it ;-) by Jojo-Schmitz
Wtf? I dont know how to code..., unrespectful man, but it dont limits me to ASK FOR SOLUTIONS and let people consider my point of view.
OK?
BYE.-
ps: i didnt EVEN said that Foxit is the most popular....... uffff.........

OK, I see, one of, missed that.
Anyway, I don't see a bug, but you do. Good old principle in Open Source: scratch your own itch.
Or find someone else doing it for you, calling names is not going to help in that BTW...
In reply to OK, I see, one of, missed… by Jojo-Schmitz
I just presented a problem. Not a bug. This is not the bugs section.
Thats it. You like it or not. Some people will relate. Some not. Period.-

LOL... thats a giant zoom.... xDDDDD
I said on the other thread that im using it at 100% zoom... of course zoomed it out like this will look sharp enough.. xD
You are REALLY missing the point here. :)

The example images you showed in the other thread are different sizes, so can't by both at 100%
And yes, sometimes antialiasing effects kick in

In fact i said a 'ps' explaining why they are different size.... but the sizes are much less different compared with the ultra giant zoom of the image above.. so.. it says nothing about..
In reply to In fact i said a 'ps'… by victor.tabas
I suspect the difference in size is down to the export having the fonts embeded (and then used) vs. the print ed one having them coverted into paths. You're right, were it bitmaps, it'd be way bigger.
See also #64871: fonts are not embedded in the PDF on Mac, leading to much larger files, where such a bug has been fixed for Mac, in an updated version of Qt.
