separating triplets
As an exercise I want to put Chopiin's Prelude 1 Op. 28 in MuseScore.
What I run into as a first issues is that the notes of two triplets in the first measure are connected.
How can I separate them?

OK, thanks for sending me in the right direction.
I found out that I can change it by changing the default time signature beaming settings.

There are links to other sections of the handbook on most pages as is the case with beams. You have obviously discovered this and that is good. In the past others have not paid attention to this. As you probably read, there are a couple of ways to do this based upon how many beams you want to fix. Editing the time signature beaming works when you want most or all beams changed.
