Copy lyrics
I have a score for 4 voices. The lyrics for 3 verses are placed below the lowest stave. For easier reading, I would like to place copies of the lyrics below each of the other staves as well. My attempt to copy the lyrics to the clipboard and then paste them below another stave resulted in the lyrics being placed with incorrect alignment. Is it possible achieve the desired result without entering entering the lyrics manually?

Don't use the copy lyrics to keyboard tool, instead select the section of the staff you want to copy from, right click a lyric, choose Select>All similar elements in selection and copy (ctrl+c), select the destination and paste (ctrl+v). Note that if the notes have a different rhythm you will likely not like the results you get, but if they are similar enough, further cutting and pasting may make fixing it easier.

Thanks Mike,
I had to add an extra step to your instructions. Select>more; check Same Subtype (Verse 1,2,or3). Then it works.

You had not mentioned multiple verses, so you are correct for wanting to copy and paste only one verse. In another thread the same day this one started I told someone that select> with the more... and the other options is one of the best features of MuseScore. I was thinking of being able to copy one verse at a time among other things.
One more really cool thing about verses that may be handy one day. After you use select>more... to select your verse, you can change verse number in the inspector and the lyrics will change to that verse. You just need to make sure the new verse is empty.
