Support Overture 5.0's ovex format

Is the format documented somewhere? Which program produces it and doesn't that program also support MusicXML?
A quick Google search only showed some medicine

I would guess it's a XML file (because oveX?) in a compressed form. unzip cannot open it right away and apparently there is a header 78da ed7d

yep, 2nd thing I tried was opening it with 7zip, 1st thing was a plain editor, both attempts failed.

78da does seem to denote some zip format though (Zip algorithms: compression extreme: 78DA, see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9050260/what-does-a-zlib-header-loo…)

Indeed, it is a zlib-compressed xml. It can be easily extracted for example with offzip ( http://aluigi.altervista.org/mytoolz.htm#offzip ) with
offzip.exe -a file_name.ovex output_directory

Strange, so far 7zip unpacked about everything for me, not this one though. Maybe because it is a compressed file rather than a compressed archive?

Indeed not. It is an xml fomat though. (like .mscx is too), just none MuseScoda can read/import.

You want to import .ovex into MuseScore, right? If so, this is what this feature request is about. MuseScore correnylt can't hand that format.
